Quilt Station's Treasure Hunt

There is still time to sign up for our Treasure Hunt. Hop aboard the Quilt Station train and join us for a Mystery Treasure Hunt (Quilt). Our hunt starts Friday May 30th, continues on Saturday May 31st and wraps up on Sunday June 1st. The hunt will start about 5:30 p.m. on Friday, pick up again at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Come with us! Relax before your busy Summer schedule starts and just enjoy the time with your fellow hunters (quilters). Your ticket for this trip is $35.00 plus materials. You will need four fabrics, light background, medium light, medium dark and a dark. The conductors at the Quilt Station will be able to help you chose just the right fabrics for your hunt. Get your ticket early and reserve your seat.

Patterns from Lazy Girl Designs

Looking for quick and easy Holiday gifts? Stop in and see our patterns from Lazy Girl Designs. Later in the summer we will start projects using these patterns. Samples are in the store. We have also just received new blenders from "Kona Bay", "Moda" and "Troy". Also a reminder that the new Christmas lines for start arriving later this month.

Schedule of upcoming classes:

Beginning Quilting:

This 5 week class will teach you all the basics you will need to start quilting. You will learn how to use a rotary cutter, sew an accurate 1/4" seam, machine piece and much more. You will create a lap size quilt you will be proud of.

Thursdays: May. 1st,8th, 15th, 29th and June 5th, 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Saturdays: May 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and Juen 7th, 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Class fee: $50.00 plus materials.

Snails and Stars:

Combined the snails trail with stars within stars and make this beautiful and fun quilt. You can use two colors or make it scrappy with 8 colors. Instructions are available for 2 sizes.

Tuesdays: May 6th and May 20th, 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Fridays: May 9th, 23rd, 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Class Fee: $35.00 plus materials.

Easy Star Sampler

Many of you have asked me to teach this class again since you missed it the first time around. There are no eight-pointed stars in this sampler, but most of the blocks look like stars. The alternated block setting creates the effect of large stars surrounding the blocks. You will make twelve different 12" blocks, the alternate setting and the pieced border. This is a four part class and I will only have 4 students in each class, so everyone has room to work. Stop by the store to see the finished quilt.

Fridays: June 20th, 27th, July 11th and 18th, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Saturdays: June 21st, 28th, July 12th and 19th, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
